I absolutely love this hotel. It is centrally located not too far from the corniche and cultural district. The rooms are spacious, but the best part is their pillows - best hotel pillows I’ve had at an hotel and I’ve stayed at 100’s of hotels. The king bed also is a super size which I absolutely love being a bigger guy. Would highly recommend the buffet breakfast - was top notch, very much an international affair. The only improvement would be to consider using fresh milk in the coffee machine and not UHT/long life (but I understand why they do since it’s so hot here). The rooftop pool is a hit with a not too bad gym (which also has a sauna and steam room). And finally - all the staff members are friendly and welcoming … not a sad face amongst them. I liked the bubbly GM on reception as well.

Very nice experience good room great service. Very good food especially with the chef Harish that he cares a lot about every visitor and he gives the best service that can be especially if you have allergy he care a lot and he take care of you and you make sure that you know about every dish if it have what you are allergic for or not and he really really gives a great service and I would say he made my stay here feels very very good and he made the best. The staff in general here in the hotel are very good and they like to give great service. The colours of the room can feel a little bit dark especially if you stay for few days. There is a problem with the tickets that opens the door that they all the time stop to work and they make it for you again at the reception for free... Not a big deal. In general very recommended.

Me and my wife stayed at Southern Sun Abu Dhabi for 3 days and 2 nights during the Eid holiday, and we had a really relaxing and enjoyable stay. From check-in until check-out, everything was smooth and pleasant. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and has a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made our stay even better. We especially enjoyed spending time by the pool to relax and unwind. Special mention as well to Bob, the lifeguard by the pool area, for being very helpful, attentive, and accommodating during our stay. His excellent service added to the positive experience we had. Overall, it was a very nice and relaxing holiday stay, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Abu Dhabi.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Southern Sun Hotel! Everything about my experience was beyond amazing. The room was stunning—beautifully designed, very clean, and extremely comfortable. The view was honestly breathtaking and made my stay even more special. What truly made this experience unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of the staff especialy Daisy. I shared with them that I had just passed my driving license, and they surprised me with a cake that had “Congratulations” written on it! Such a thoughtful and kind gesture that I will never forget. This hotel goes above and beyond to make their guests feel special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great views, and exceptional service.
