Wonderful museum and one of the cultural highlights of Barcelona 🏛️✨ The Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya has an excellent and very diverse collection, with especially impressive Modern and Modernist Catalan art. I greatly enjoyed the elegant paintings, decorative arts, posters, furniture, and the atmosphere of Catalan artistic culture from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries 🎨✨ The building itself is magnificent, with beautiful architecture and spectacular panoramic views over the city from the terraces 🌇 The Gothic and Romanesque sections are also interesting and historically important, though I was personally most impressed by the Modern art collections and the overall atmosphere of the museum. The terrace café was a very pleasant place to relax with a coffee ☕ after exploring the museum. The Oval Café is very nice, comfortable, and elegant, while the Absis restaurant offers very good food and wonderful views over Barcelona 🍽️✨ From the right side of the Oval Café, there is an elevator to the sixth floor rooftop walk with truly unparalleled spectacular panoramic views of Barcelona, Montjuïc, Plaça d’Espanya, and the surrounding hills 🌇✨ Absolutely worth visiting. Highly recommended for anyone interested in art, architecture, Catalan culture, or simply beautiful views of Barcelona 🎨

Very beautiful museum with lots of amazing artwork by different artists. We were amazed by all the art and the staff were so friendly and helpful and answered our questions. the museum also has videos showing their processes and history, there was some performance outside the museum after closing. the view from the museum is awesome as well, it’s on a hill so you can see the entire city. keep in mind it has a lot of stairs so wear very comfortable walking shoes

Beautiful museum. Really big, I like to roam and I didn't complete it. There are lots of different stuff, like paintings, furniture, ceramics, sculptures, so everyone can enjoy. And even if you don't like this type of art you can enjoy the bar or the rooftop that gives an amazing view of the city. There are some Miro and even a Picasso painting. I really enjoyed this museum. Moreover they have free entrances during specific dates so check the site in advance. They also had the original chat noir poster, I was really surprised too see it here

Our Cabify driver said that we should make the time to come here. We came on a whim after being on a Gaudi kick this whole trip that made this visit a true breath of fresh air. This museum is gorgeous, inside and out. Perfect for escaping the heat and enjoying the mirador AKA lookout point. I would say COME EARLY, so you can enjoy the museum, and the mirador with peace. I loved seeing the Gothic and Romanesque exhibit. This was my grandmother’s FAVORITE part of the trip, and it was the trip that I didn’t plan (it was spontaneous) -_- Also Seniors get to enter the museum for FREE. Please make time for this. It is worth seeing with your own eyes.

The view is SPECTACULAR!!! The exhibitions are AMAZING. You need a few hours to go through everything and enjoy it. Be prepare to climb because to see you the view you have to work for it. Unfortunately we didn't get there as early as we wanted because they were closing soon the day we went because it was a Sunday and they are close on Mondays. I wish they let people know when buying tickets online. I saw some people who were arriving at closing. The good thing is they provide a pass for another if you arrived late which is good if you have more time in your travel.
